QUALIFICATIONS

Gary S. Stofle began providing online therapy services in a chat room in December 1996.  He has had a number of both short and long term clients since that time. 

Gary maintains independent licensure in both Ohio (LISW) and New York (LCSW).  His expertise is in several areas:  alcoholism/drug addiction; codependency; couples counseling; depression; general mental health issues; dual diagnosis treatment and working with DWI offenders.  He has been an advocate for online therapy services and has led national workshops in that regard.  Gary has been online for a number of years and is quite comfortable utilizing text only in communicating with others.
